Announcement About the Education Method to be Applied After April 24, 2023

In the meeting held by our University Senate on April 6, 2023;

* With the decision of our University Senate dated 20.02.2023 and numbered 522/1, it was decided that the practical trainings, which are being conducted face-to-face, will continue face-to-face after April 24, 2023, and that the end-of-semester make-up and single course exams of these courses will be held face-to-face,

* As a result of the re-evaluation of the decision of our University Senate dated 31.03.2023 and numbered 532/1, and in all academic units, except for those mentioned in the above article, it was decided that theoretical and practical courses will be conducted face-to-face in classrooms without attendance requirement for students who wish, along with the distance education method, starting from April 24, 2023, and that the end-of-semester, make-up, and single course exams of these courses will be conducted online (multiple choice, true/false, written, assignment, project, etc.) according to the exam method to be determined and announced by the instructor in advance,

* It was decided not to apply the restriction that a maximum of 30% of the courses in a semester can be delivered through distance education according to the ECTS credits, as stated in the 6th article of the "Procedures and Principles Regarding Distance Education in Higher Education Institutions" currently in force,

* It was decided that exams such as thesis monitoring and proficiency exams will be conducted according to the exam method to be determined and announced in advance by the relevant boards,

* It was decided that students who continue their education as Special Students at another higher education institution will continue their education in the same way,

* It was decided that all academic units will complete their preparations according to the Hybrid education model, which will be implemented on April 24, 2023,

it has been decided.
